fasting month..

Alhamdulillah..

Tonight, me and a couple of friends from Indonesia just finished ‘teraweh’ praying in Mushola (praying room, multi-faith centre) at Griffith University, Nathan Campus.. Although it wasnt crowded as in my home country, Indonesia, and the information of when we started fasting was a little bit late and rushed, but we still have the spirit of Ramadhan.. and the teraweh time flew so sacretly..

So.. this month of September, all moslem in all over the world will have to fasting a whole month until 31st of September.. and will celebrate Ramadhan on the 1st of October. We fasting because our God told us to fasting. We pray 5 times a day because our God told us to do so. God created us so it is our obligation to obey Him. Do what He told to and away from what He forbid to.

This is my first time, fasting away from home away from Jakarta.. I know this will be hard for me, but this is my choice. I have God and also moslem friends here in Brisbane.. I hope i can do all teraweh n fasting smoothly without any trouble.. amiiinnn

So…for all moslems in all over the world, i just wn say ‘happy fasting’.. minal aidin wal faidzin..

Ramadhan kareem. .May all my brothers and sisters receive all the barokah, hidayah, ni’mah of
this glorious month…

today is the last day of me to work at my office..

well…i have to do this.. i have to go.. for my own sake..

im not one of them.. but i will be one of them next year..^_^

okay…this is the beginning of the story..

i made this blog.. coz i will go to Brisbane for Master Degree..

ive got the scholarship from my office, and then here i am.. waiting for my departure to griffith university..

yes i know i am a lucky girl.. never imagine going study abroad.. it’s like my childhood dream..

dont ask how i got this far.. it’s a looonngg story..

i do so excited but also worried.. i mean this is my first time going abroad.. n for a year..

i will tell you my journey in brisbane from the very first beginning.. just wait n see
